Training / Simulation

Training / Simulation

In the field, they only get one chance to get it right. They must make tactical decisions based on limited information and pressing time. This means that training must go beyond the classroom. It must be training that is As Real As It Gets.

A key component to any training scenario is ensuring that those training receive outcomes that prepare them for the real world situations. Whether this is coordinating tasks with other members of squad such as a stack up procedure, making split second decisions during a firefight, or dealing with the aftermath of such actions; if the outcomes of the training failed to prepare even one soldier, the results could be devastating. Therefore, the outcomes received in training are extremely important and vital to prepare each and every soldier physically and mentally.

With IFTech’s product ARAIG, we provide those outcomes. Providing the ability for soldiers to get as close to feeling and hearing what it is like to be in that real world situation without the dangers of actually doing so. ARAIG provides localized surround sound allowing a soldier to hear everything in the world around them as if they were actually there. While ARAIG’s physical sensory feedback devices can provide everything from the impact of debris or bullets on armour, the feeling of a hand on one’s shoulder during a stack up procedure, different sensations of recoil from a variety of weapons; and even the ability to lock parts of an individual’s body in place to replicate resistance or injury.

Whether you are a solution provider building systems for training and simulation or someone in the military conducting training operations, if you are looking to take your training to a whole different level and differentiate your training system from all others, IFTech’s product ARAIG can do just that.

Gaming / Development

Gaming / Development

Gamers have their noses pressed up to the glass of their monitors and TVs wishing they could go through that glass to that other world. To sense and feel what it’s like to be there in that moment. With the current push of VR technology, the potential for gamers to enter these worlds has become possible.

For a developer, this rapid expansion of VR technology initially seems to provide many opportunities to expand one’s market reach and enhance your products, but the VR space and the various technologies also come with many challenges.

The HMD, treadmill and controller peripherals that have been created to enhance current games and bring gamers into the VR space focus on an increased level of interaction from the users or in the case of HMDs a new way of viewing the gaming world entirely. Such requirements by these peripherals enforce particular limitations or restraints on the type of content that can be created and/or how it has to be created. As a developer, this means to enter into the VR marketspace with these peripherals, the content that you currently provide has to change, that research needs to be done into the integration of the new technology, and all of which costs time, money and increases the amount of risk.

This is where IFTech’s product ARAIG has a major advantage over other peripherals. ARAIG has been designed as an enhancement to mainstream content through its robust Software Development Kit and direct support from our Software Development Team. This approach allows developers to continue focusing on their core strengths and developing their content, and when ready, seamlessly integrating ARAIG in as an enhancement to their games. ARAIG allows you to maintain your content focus and pipeline, rather than meeting the needs of a peripheral, provides the ability to revitalize old games or differentiate new ones from your competitors, and integration of ARAIG can be during or post production to best suit your development teams process and company’s bottom line.

So, whether you are an Indie company trying to breach or grow within an ever increasing competitive market or a AAA studio looking for a new way to differentiate your product, possibly trying to become the next big eSports game on the market; IFTech’s product ARAIG allows your games to stand out from your competition by taking your gamers to a whole different level.

Entertainment

Entertainment

As a movie theatre, your end goal is providing the most entertaining movie experience possible to maximize on the amount of tickets sold and purchases at the concession stand. To continue to provide a better and better experience, theatres are looking for and adding new ways for their audience to enjoy the experience. From 3D glasses to new audio systems, different screen sizes to motion chairs, and a variety of other equipment to provide that next level of entertainment.

With all the additions and enhancements as they currently stand, none of these approaches maximize on ticket sales, which in turn means none maximize on the sales at concessions stands. In fact, 3D glasses create a divide between those who want to see movies in 3D and those who want to see movies in 2D, requiring more rooms dedicated to the same movie without the increase in tickets purchased across them or even a delay in showing a movie in 2D. With new audio systems and different screens, it requires renovations or expansions; which means heavy up front costs and potentially limiting the amount of rooms you have available for viewing. As for technology such as motion chairs, it requires the replacement of the standard seating, reducing the number of seats; which also have a higher up front cost to setup and maintain. Furthermore, all of these technologies only provide one experience for a movie, once a movie goer has seen a movie with one or more of these technologies for the first time, the second and third time will be the same. This inability to entice someone to come back and see the movie a second and third time puts a limited amount of control on a theatre’s ability to get a movie goer as a returning customer without just providing them with new movies to see.

This is where IFTech’s product ARAIG stands out, allowing theatres to maximize on their venues space, while providing multiple experiences for a movie goer to come back to, for each and every movie. With ARAIG, movies can be enhanced by allowing a movie goer to select which character they want to be while watching a film; feeling and hearing everything as if they are that character. The more characters that work with ARAIG within a movie, the more times a movie goer can go back to watch the same movie and receive an entirely different experience. Imagine a super hero movie (http://bit.ly/2bvPq20) where a group of movie goers each choose to be a different character, and each gets an entirely different experience to feel and then share the outcome with others. Imagine how many times this group would now go back, even together, to try out the other combinations and see what one another had experienced. Furthermore, ARAIG does not require a theatre to change its layout or limit non ARAIG users from watching and enjoying the same movie. Think of the same group of movie goers and let’s assume some wanted to wear ARAIG and others did not, but all wanted to go see the same movie together. Well with ARAIG, this is possible, while all the other technologies would force that group of movie goers to make a choice of all experience what that technology has if they want to be together or not to go together at all.

For theatre venues constantly trying to maximize on ticket sales and its purchases at the concession stand, IFTech’s product ARAIG provides this by, allowing movie goers to all enjoy how they experience a movie with others, by giving them a way to have a new experience with the same movie, and by giving theatres the option of either just allowing people to walk in with their own ARAIG or have ARAIG’s on hand to provide this experience.
